Project information
In 2029, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will resurface and reconstruct Highway 2B in East Grand Forks. The project includes an urban reconstruct from Demers Ave to 5th Ave NE and resurfacing from 5th Ave NE to Highway 2.
Key project elements
- Urban reconstruct from Demers Ave to 5th Ave NE
- Resurface (mill and overlay) from 5th Ave NE to Highway 2
- Upgrade sidewalk from Demers Ave to 2nd Ave NE
- New shared-use path from 2nd Ave NW to 2nd Ave NE on south side
- Remove street parking on south side from 3rd Ave NW to 5th Ave NE
- Remove street parking on north side from 2nd Ave NE to 5th Ave NE
