Highway 56 improvements completed near West Concord, Highway 14 work begins between Kasson and Dodge Center
WEST CONCORD, Minn. – Road improvements on Highway 56 south of West Concord are completed and the road is open to traffic, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Construction crews made concrete pavement repairs on Highway 56 from Dodge County Road 34 to West Concord (Dodge County Road 24). They patched, replaced damaged concrete panels or repaired or sealed joints. This work provides a smoother ride for motorists and extends the service life of roads.
Additional project work
Crews have started concrete pavement repairs on Highway 14 between Kasson and Dodge Center from Highway 57 to County Road 5. A single lane closure on Highway 14 will occur during work. Work is starting on Highway 14 westbound and then will move to Highway 14 eastbound. Improvements are expected to be completed by late-August.
