City of Pierz to begin Highway 25 utility project Aug. 19
BAXTER, Minn. – Starting Tuesday, Aug. 19, the City of Pierz will begin a utility project to replace and upgrade the water service lines along Highway 25 in town, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Motorists will encounter occasional lane or shoulder closures, as well as utility crews at work through mid-September. For questions or concerns about this work, contact the City of Pierz at www.pierzmn.org .
MnDOT reminds travelers that Highway 25 remains closed for roadwork north and south of Pierz through late September. The detour route uses roads from Crow Wing County Road 2 in Shephard to north Buckman, including Highway 25 through Pierz. Drivers should watch for and expect changes.
