Wildlife Crossing Pilot Program
The Wildlife Crossings Pilot Program is now available for Fiscal Years 2022 and 2023 in the amount of $111.85 million. The program helps carry out projects that reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions and improve habitat connectivity for terrestrial and aquatic species.
Program is open to:
- State Departments of Transportation;
- Metropolitan Planning Organizations;
- Units of local government;
- Regional transportation authorities;
- Special purpose districts or public authorities with a transportation function;
- Indian tribes;
- Federal Land Management Agencies; and
- A group of any of the above entities.
The deadline for applications is August 1, 2023. Grant applications must be submitted through Grants.gov.
