Summary of work
In 2028, MnDOT plans to replace the eastbound I-90 bridge over Freeborn County Road 46. We'll also make improvements on the eastbound exit ramp.
The bridge was built in 1967 and has deteriorated to a point where it should be replaced. The team is investigating options to increase the deceleration lane lentgh. This will allow vehicles additional space to slow at the exit.
Public meeting
Join us for an in-person public meeting on Mon, May 18. Learn about the planned improvements, anticipated construction impacts and schedule. There will be no formal presentation. Come any time during the meeting.
